TAUNTON gets its second Christmas lights switch-on in five days on Thursday evening.
Orchard Shopping Centre is putting on a programme of entertainment during a four-hour spectacular ahead of the festive late night shopping.
It follows Sunday's first Taunton town centre lights switch-on ceremony in front of the Market House since 2015.
The fun starts in Orchard at 5pm with an hours of stage performances, followed by a half-hour fire and light show from 6pm and the build up to the switch-on with Santa and Taunton Deane Mayor Cllr Catherine Herbert.
The entertainment will be rounded off with a performance by Taunton's Got Talent 2017 winner Absolute Pitch.
During the evening there will be stilt walkers and free face painting, mince pies and apple chaider.
