MERGER: Between Taunton Deane and West Somerset Councils
WHY should WE, the taxpayers of Taunton, be asked once again to back up this council’s blunders?
Asking us to pay up to £3.1m to cover the shortfalls for the merger when WE the taxpayers have never been given a say in the matter, and please don’t start me off regarding the Firepool blunders (to put it mildly).

I believe the taxpayers have never been consulted at any stage in the past 10 years over these matters.
Roll on next spring when the local elections come around.
