A SWAN who has called Hestercombe home for around two decades has passed away.
The swan, believed to be a cob, was found dead this week.
It is thought the swan, who is 22-years-old, died of natural causes.
According to The Swan Sanctuary, the average life of a swan in the wild is just 12-years-old, but can live up to 30-years-old in a protected environment.
The swan has been a resident at Hestercombe Gardens, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Taunton, for around 20 years.
He was a visitors' favourite and was the subject of a lot of guest photos at the gardens.
