THIS large knife was confiscated after police stopped a car in Taunton last night (Wednesday).
The driver of the vehicle was then arrested on suspicion of a number of crimes.
According to comments on social media by roads policing officer PC Adam Clapp, the motorist was already disqualified and was found to have no insurance.
He was also held on suspicion of possessing cannabis and a Class A drug, while PC Clapp added that he failed a drug wipe test.
He tweeted: "#RoadsPolicing #DenyingCriminalUseOfTheRoads."
The County Gazette has contacted Avon and Somerset Police for a comment.
