THE owners of a country pub at the side of a busy road into Taunton have called last orders.
They say they have had to "make the hard decision" to close the Nag's Head, on the A358 at Mattock's Tree Hill, Thornfalcon.
An announcement on the pub's website says: "Thank you to all our customers over the last three years we have enjoyed your support however we have now had to make the hard decision to close the doors for the last time."
The reason for the closure has not been explained.
Among future events that had been planned was a Valentine's menu.
The Nag's Head, which reputedly dates back to the 17th Century, was bought by a father and daughter in 2015 - from the father and son who previously owned it.
