THESE photos show the shocking state of kerbside drains in a Taunton street.
The two public drains on either side of Wellesley Street have not been cleared in years, according to one resident.
They are chock-a-block with soil, rubbish and weeds - and it seems the council has done nothing about it.
The resident, who does not wish to be named, said: "It's a disgrace.
"They've been like it for years and no-one seems to care.
"I've contacted the council a couple of times and nothing gets done.
"When it rains it takes longer for the water to disappear down the drains."
