ROYALTY: Carnival Queen Carlie Perkins with princess, Grace North
THE 2019 Taunton Carnival Queen and the Carnival Princess were crowned at a recent presentation event.
The carnival committee’s Annual Presentation Evening took place this month and 29-year-old Carlie Perkins was crowned Carnival Queen, and also assumes the role of the 2019 Miss Taunton.
Mum-of-four Carlie, from Priorswood, will represent Taunton Carnival at various events throughout the year and lead the illuminated procession at the event, in October.
North Town School pupil, Grace North, 10, has been crowned as the new Carnival Princess.
