A MAN who smashed up TV screens in a bookies in Bridgwater has been handy a hefty bill by a court.
Derek Grimmett, also known as Willis, caused £1,710.92 worth of damage at the Ladbrokes premises.
Grimmett, 38, of Windermere Avenue, Weston-super-Mare, pleaded guilty to intending to destroy or damage the TVs on September 23 when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Courts.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £1,710.92 compensation to Ladbrokes.
At the same hearing he received no separate penalty for failing to surrender to bail.
