I'VE read three County Gazette articles online in the last week with a common theme; local Conservative MP Mr Liddell-Granger compared Taunton to Aleppo, then apologised to the people of Aleppo (not Taunton), and now claims our County Town has "crime ridden Ghetto's".

And these stories aren't just reported locally but have made national papers too.
There was another common theme in all the articles though; our own Conservative MP for Taunton was silent.
My first thought was, 'when will she speak up to defend our town?', but since she hasn't, I'm starting to wonder if it's because, privately, she agrees with her Conservative colleague?
If not, she should prove it by standing up in Parliament to defend us against this slander.
