THE centre of Cirencester came alive last weekend, when the World Village Market arrived in the Market Place.
Organised by Zoom Events, the market took place on Saturday and Sunday, giving residents and visitors to the town a chance to sample street foods from across the world, as well as artisan grocery foods and gifts.
There was also a festival feel to the event, with street performers adding to the atmosphere.
Despite the rain on Saturday, the market remained busy throughout the weekend, giving stall holders a chance to show off their produce.
There was an eclectic mix, with something for all tastes, including the popular Non Solo Pasta, who are regulars at Cirencester's weekly markets, Real Greek Food, Thainese Street Food, O’Donnell Moonshine and The Great British Cheese Company.
