A BURGLAR who escaped after being disturbed by a home owner got away with a lap top computer.
Police are investigating the incident at a property in Whirligig Place on Thursday last week (March 28) between 4.15am and 4.30am.
The thief was chased out of the home by the owner along Whirligig Lane towards Middle Street.
The suspect took a black Dell Inspiron, red Dell logo, touch-screen, which is chipped in one corner.
He is described as a white man, 5ft 11in tall, of skinny build and with short hair.
He was wearing a grey hooded top, dark grey jogging bottoms and Nike style Air Max Deluxe training shoes.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We’d like to hear from anyone that is offered a lap top computer matching the description above.
"If you have information to help our enquiries, please contact us, quoting 5219066678."
