COMIC book fans and film fanatics are in for a good weekend in Taunton.

The UK Comic and Gaming Festival is set to return to town for its fourth event on Sunday (April 14).

Lots of activities will be taking place at Wellsprings Leisure Centre - with celebrity guests, escape rooms, film and comic paraphernalia and more.

Lisa Clarke, who runs the events across the country with her husband Graham, said: "It's bigger and better than last year, you have to be.

"Our last two events have been packed, but you can buy tickets on the door, there's still some available.

"There's lots going on, this year we have free escape rooms from a company opening in Taunton soon, and a big marquee outside."

Lock and Code Escape Rooms, which is opening in Taunton on May 4, will be running first-come first-served sessions for their rooms upstairs in the building.

Harry Potter fans are being treated this year, with Chris Rankin, aka Percy Weasley, and James Payton, aka Frank Longbottom, making an appearance.

More recognisable faces will be attending, as well as fans dressed up as a array of famous characters.

The event prides itself for having something for all ages.

The event starts at 10am and runs until 4.30pm.

Pre-booked tickets cost £7 for adults, £4 for 6-13-year-olds, and under fives go free.

Tickets on the door are slightly more expensive.
