A TAUNTON supermarket is closing until next month for a revamp.
The Co-op in Cheddon Road is closing tomorrow (Saturday, May 18) for what it calls "a makeover".
During the closure period customers are being redirected to a smaller Co-op outlet in nearby Priorswood Place.
A Co-op spokesman said: "We've got some exciting plans up our sleeve at your Taunton Co-op.
"From May 18 we'll be closing our doors and your store will be getting a makeover.
"We're sure you'll like the changes we're making.
"Don't worry, our Priorswood Place Co-op will still be open.
"So while we get to work on your store, you can still get hold of all your favourites and your everyday essentials too."
The spokesman added: "Your new look store will be ready in June."
To lure customers to the Priorswood Place store, the Co-op is running a loyalty reward scheme - each week you shop there, you'll get a stamp and when you've collected three you'll be able to get £10 off a shop at the revamped store when it re-opens.
