IDLEWILD, Jim Bob and ShadowParty are among the latest acts added to the lineup for the Shiine On weekender.

The event takes place at Butlin's Minehead, running from November 15 to 17, showcases the best of indie, dance and sub-cultures from the 80s, 90s and beyond.

Acts announced today join already-confirmed performers including as Embrace, The Lightning Seeds and the Wonder Stuff.

Scottish rockers Idlewild - famous for hits including 'You Held The World In Your Arms' and 'A Modern Way of Letting Go' - join the Saturday main stage lineup alongside Embrace, Steve Mason and Turin Brakes.

Carter USM frontman Jim Bob, fresh from a sold-out show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, will be performing an EXCLUSIVE ‘30 Something’ set, followed by an encore of Carter classics.

Meanwhile, supergroup ShadowParty will also be heading to Minehead, boasting members of New Order, Devo, Marion and Bad Lieutenant in their ranks.

There will also be a performance from Cold Water Swimmers, the new group formed by former Dub Sex and The G-O-D front man Chris Bridgett, while up-and-coming Ivory Wave also join the bill.

Babyshambles man Adam Ficek and Liverpool artiste Tracky are also confirmed.

Also back by popular demand are The Clone Roses, a Stone Roses tribute band, alongside a host of club nights, including Absolute Radio’s Andy Bush’s Indie Disco, the legendary Birmingham night Menangarie, Spinout Review and Northern Soul Rave Patrol.

All ticket packages to the Shiiine On Weekender include chalet accommodation at Butlin's, and have sold out in previous years so music fans are urged to snap up spots quickly.
