NEW signs which welcome visitors to Taunton and celebrate the town's garden town status have been installed.
The signs, which were erected at a number of locations across the town on Saturday (June 1), inform visitors that they are entering the South West's first garden town.
Somerset West and Taunton tweeted to announce the news and said they are 'proud' of the town's garden town status
The tweet read: "The new Welcome to Taunton signs have been going up today and we think they look amazing! Who else agrees!?
"We’re proud to be the South West’s first Garden Town."
