DRIVERS are being urged to slow down in Minehead following a clampdown by police.
PC Sam Donati said a speed enforcement initiative in the Woodcombe, Ponsford Road and Bircham Road areas - the last two outside schools - had been conducted.
He tweeted: "A large number of drivers advised regarding excess speed in these areas of community concern."
In another incident, one car was stopped and seized for being driven without insurance.
