JEWELLERS and second-hand shops are being asked to help police investigating the theft of two jewellery items in a Somerset town.
A gold chain necklace and a diamond ring were taken from a property in the Bove Town area of Glastonbury on Friday (June 21) bewteen 11.50am and 6pm.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The two items of jewellery and an iPad were taken during the burglary.
"We are urging jewellers and second-hand shops to be vigilant.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who is offered either to the items of jewellery."
