THREE nights of fantastic live music is set to return to Taunton’s Vivary Park this weekend.

Madness, Bananarama and Tom Jones are the main acts to grace the stage at Vivary Park in Taunton.

This show is being organised by concert promoter, LCC Live, as part of its ‘Live in Somerset’ series of concerts.

Famous for unique, quirky pop classics including House of Fun; Driving in My Car; It Must Be Love; Our House; and Baggy Trousers, Madness will bring their love of pop to Somerset.

The band said: “Madheads and all we’re coming out to see ya, summer wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t there to dance and sing to all our nutty sounds.”

On the Friday night Madness will be joined by Chris Difford and the Lightening Seeds.

Bananarama, the musical duo of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward, will be joined by special guests Jason Donovan, Hazell Dean, Doctor and the Medics and Aswad on Saturday evening.

Tom Jones will bring the three-night Live in Somerset series of music concerts to a close on the Sunday night.

Sir Tom, who is currently reprising his role as a coach on ITV’s The Voice, has a fundamental interest in a wide range of music.

The Dunwells and Megan O’Neill will perform alongside Tom on the Sunday night.

Rebecca Corbett, of promoter LCC Live, said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing this legendary musician to Vivary Park.”

Carlie Davidson, event organisers LCC Live, said: “We’re delighted to be headed back to Vivary Park to offer music fans in Somerset another three nights of incredible live music.

“Live in Somerset with Bananarama and their special guests will be an amazing night of ‘80s and ‘90s music.

“We expect there to be an incredible atmosphere in Vivary Park.”
