THE organisers of a music concert at Taunton Racecourse have apologised after the event was cancelled.
Thousands of disappointed fans have been informed the concert featuring indie rock band Razorlight on August 17 has been pulled and will not be rescheduled.
People who had already bought tickets have been told they will receive a full refund.
Also due to appear at the event were Happy Mondays and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Gemma Kennison-King, for the promoters, told the County Gazette: "There have been some unforeseen operational circumstances.
"It's something out of the artists' and the venue's control.
"Ticket holders will be receiving a full refund, including booking fees.
"We can only offer our apologies."
