SCORES of people turned to sport to wind down after a stressful day at work at a recent initiative in Taunton.
A record 43 teams took part in this year's Somerset Activity and Sport Partnership workplace games at Taunton Vale Sports Club and Bishop Fox's School.
The annual games are part of the wider SASP workplace activity offer, providing colleagues to get together to have some fun away from the stresses and strains of the work environment and get a little bit active at the same time.
The games, which included rounders, volleyball, unihoc, boules and laser shooting, were adapted to make them inclusive to everyone and were delivered in a relaxed atmosphere.
SASP's Stewart Collins said: "Taking part and having fun are the key outcomes for the participants, while the employer is likely to benefit from an excited and happy workforce with a sense of 'team'."
