EMERGENCY services were called out to Rhode Lane in Bridgwater last night after a vehicle ended up in a ditch following a crash.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene just before 7pm yesterday evening, (Tuesday, August 6), and on arrival found a man 'not physically trapped but unable to get out of the vehicle'.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Crews assisted Ambulance personnel in removing the casualty onto a stretcher and made the vehicle safe."
The patient was taken to hospital for further treatment.
