A SCHOOL school that doesn't have enough space for all its pupils is hoping to install a new building big enough for two classes.
A planning application has been lodged for the new portable building at West Buckland Primary School.
If Somerset West and Taunton approves the proposal, the Elliott modular building would be transported to the site in Silver Street from its current location at Crispin School Academy, Street.
A document submitted with the application says: "West Buckland Primary School is a successful, small, rural primary school, rated by Ofsted as good.
"The school facilities however continue to be undersized for the number of students currently on roll, requiring the school to make use of the main hall as core teaching space.
"This project seeks to remedy these identified capacity issues and ensure the provision of two suitably sized classroom spaces that will enable the school to operate with the correct number of teaching spaces for their capacity."
