A SPECIALIST in event safety has become the latest sponsor of Bridgwater Carnival 2019.

Symphotech, who provide professional safety related advice and consultancy services at major entertainment and sporting events throughout the UK, has joined forces with Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, as the countdown to the big night gathers momentum.

The company who has offices in Somerset, Cheshire, Hampshire and Lincolnshire has kindly agreed to sponsor new high visibility tabards for the 82 judges who will be on duty during the carnival procession on Saturday, November 2, as well as the free monthly Bridgwater Carnival digital e-newsletter which is distributed by Somerset Web Services.

Dave Croker, chairman of Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee, said: “On behalf of everybody associated with Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, I would like to thank Symphotech for their sponsorship and generosity. We really do appreciate it.

“If it wasn’t for the help and support we receive from the business sector, our carnival would not be as successful as it is.”

Duncan White, lead fire and crowd safety consultant for Symphotech, added: ”The opportunity to work with Bridgwater Carnival and sponsor the high visibility tabards for the judges was a perfect partnership for us.

"Supporting such an iconic Somerset tradition which receives worldwide exposure was an opportunity too good to miss. We look forward to working with Bridgwater Carnival for many years to come”.

Bridgwater Carnival’s free monthly e-newsletter is titled ‘The Bridgwater Squib’ and contains all of the latest news about the event. If you would like to subscribe, visit www.bridgwatercarnival.org.uk or email davestokes@bridgwatercarnival.org.uk.
