IN just a few days Burnham-on-Sea will be transformed into a musical haven as local bands fill the streets for BOSfest.

On August 31 and September 1 musicians and artists from across Somerset will show off their talents to visitors at the free event which will be hosted at venues across the town.

The Princess Theatre in Burnham will be a hive of activity on August 31 as street artists including John D'oh and local bands including Madcap, Healthy Junkies and IDestroy will be performing for crowds.

The Ritz Theatre and Social Club will also be busy throughout the day with performances from Gaz Brookfield, Bending Tones and Bob Gallie.

Burnham Library will be keeping visitors entertained with performances from Drum Together, Step Inside and local authors including Sonny Topham and Damien Boyd will be reciting their works.

On September 1 musicians including Dry White Bones, Nick Harper and Recovering Satellites will be performing in Manor Gardens and there will be stalls, circus skills, and a bouncy castle to keep visitors entertained throughout the day.
