Bellringing in St Mary's Church, Bridgwater
FOR their first meeting after the summer break, the Bridgwater & District Civic Society are hosting a meeting with two local veteran campanologists.
Richard and Margaret Lee are the tower tutor and tower captain respectively of the bell-ringers at St Mary's, Bridgwater.
They will be touching on the history, the techniques, the dangers and the joys of this honourable and iconic vocation.
The meeting takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 11.
The venue is the Victoria Centre, Victoria Park, Bridgwater, TA6 7AS.
All welcome, visitors £3.
