A BUSY road which has been closed for five weeks is set to reopen soon.
Trull Road has been closed from August 19 wile Western Power Distribution carried out work to replace an electricity substation.
The road has been blocked from the Mount Nebo junction to the Belmont Drive junction.
The closure has caused some issues around the town, making surrounding Parkfield Road, where there is also a primary school, busier at peak times.
At the time of the closure, Somerset County Council said: “We appreciate there will be disruption for residents and motorists while this work by WPD takes place and would advise drivers to factor possible delays into their journey times during this period.”
But the works are nearly over, with the road scheduled to reopen on Friday (September 20).
