THE A38 northbound near J22 of the M5 has reopened following a crash which killed a pedestrian.
Police were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car on the A38 at Brent Knoll at 5am on September 17.
The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic was being diverted following the incident but Highways England said the road has now reopened to traffic.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said formal identification is yet to take place and the person's next of kin has been informed.
The spokesman said: "Anyone with any information - especially anyone who saw someone walking in the area in the early hours or anything else which could help the police investigation can get in touch through www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101 quoting reference 5219214529."
