AN APPEAL to find three puppies and there mum has been launched after they were stolen.
The dogs went missing from a home in Lydeard St Lawrence over the weekend.
The mother, Sassie, a Shih Tzu cross Maltese, and three of the puppies were taken.
Police are now looking into the burglary and owners are hoping for the safe return of the pups.
A spokesman said: “We’re investigating after a dog and three of its puppies were stolen in a burglary in Lydeard St Lawrence.
“The dogs were stolen from a property sometime between 8.30pm on Saturday (Sept 21) and 2.30pm on Sunday (Sept 22).
“Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the village between these times is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5219219446.”
