VANDALS have destroyed a floral memorial to former taxi drivers in the borough.
The memorial plaque which is located at the taxi rank outside Basingstoke Railway Station.
On the plaque are the names of former taxi drivers who worked in Basingstoke and Deane who have sadly died.
The memorial is usually surrounded by flowers; however, vandals overturned the flower bed spilling soil all over the memorial.
In the process they have stolen the flower box which was at the sight.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for a comment.
