A MAN was cut free from a car after a crash involving a lorry.
Emergency services rushed to the A38, near Whiteball, Wellington, at around 1pm this afternoon (October 8).
Firefighters attended to cut a man free after he became trapped in the car.
A spokesperson said: "The fire service were called to assist other agencies with a road traffic collision involving a large goods vehicle and a car.
"Two crews from Wellington attended with the specialist rescue vehicle from Taunton.
"On arrival the crews confirmed one male casualty trapped in the car.
"They used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty who was handed over to ambulance personnel."
