POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a suspected arson attack on a home in a Somerset town.
The fire started shortly before 4am on Friday (October 11) at a property in Blenheim Road, Yeovil.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The front door of a property was damaged and the occupants suffered the effects of smoke inhalation.
"The fire is being treated as suspicious.
"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously or who may have information to help our enquiries."

Two fire engines attended the incident and a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesman said there was 100 per cent fire damage to the front door, 10 per cent fire damage to the porch and light smoke damage to the ground floor hallway.
