COCA-COLA has a long-held association with the Christmas holidays.

The drinks company helped cement Father Christmas's image of a rotund, jolly man wearing a red and white suit, and for many the Coca-Cola lorry advert means Christmas has arrived (a Coca-Cola lorry even tours the country now which many will go and have a picture taken beside).

And to put the icing on the Christmas Cake, the drinks giant has announced a brand new flavour for the festive season - Diet Coke Clementine.

The new flavour will be available for a limited time in stores nationwide from mid-October.

Kris Robbens, marketing director at Coca-Cola Great Britain said: “For current fans of the brand who love new flavours and those who are looking for something new during the festive season, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new limited-edition flavour, Diet Coke Clementine.

“Full of festive flavour and with no sugar, it’s the perfect drink for the lead up to Christmas.”

Diet Coke Clementine will be available in 500ml and 1.25L bottles.
