DETAILS have been announced for the funeral of a Wellington man who died in a road traffic collision.
The service for Simon Lane will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Wellington, on Monday, October 28, at 1.30pm.
People attending are encouraged to wear "an element of colour".
Family flowers only, while donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research UK and/or MIND.
The funeral arrangements are by H. Tredwin and Son. of Wellington.
Simon, aged 54, died on Tuesday, October 8, in the collision on the A38 near the Beambridge Inn.
He was married with two daughters.
He was well known in the business community having set up Bulldog Buckle Company and working for a time at the charity On Your Bike, in Taunton.
In recent years he set up development company Stopwatch Property.
He was also involved with Fox's Hockey Club, in Wellington.
