A NUMBER of politicians have stated their intention to stand in the Bridgwater and West Somerset constituency at the General Election on Thursday, December 12.
Ian Liddell-Grainger will be standing for the Conservatives, hoping to retain his seat.
Bill Revans has been selected for the Liberal Democrats.
Diogo Rodrigues has declared he will stand as an Independent.
Oliver Thornton has been selected as the Labour candidate.
And Alexander Waugh is the prospective parliamentary candidate for the Brexit Party.
The Green Party has not yet announced its candidate.

(For impartiality we have listed the candidates in alphabetical order of their surname).
The deadline for nominations is 4pm on Thursday, November 14.
