FOUR men have denied conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Salman Basharo, 22, from Harley Close, Wembley; Christopher Lofton Charles, 23, from Brondesbury Villas, London; Kyle Currie-Newton, 19, of no fixed address in Taunton; and Skirmantas Jonas Gulevicius, 21, of no fixed address in Taunton appeared at Taunton Crown Court this afternoon (Friday).
They all pleaded not guilty to two counts of conspiring to supply illegal Class A drugs with others unknown between February 1 and October 11 this year.
Gulevicius also denied a count of human trafficking - he is accused of arranging or facilitating the travel of a youth with a view to them being exploited. The charge was brought under the Modern Slavery Acts.
All four were released on conditional bail and ordered to report for a pre-trial review at Taunton Crown Court on Monday, February 3 next year.
The court heard that a fifth man is due to appear at Taunton Magistrates' Courts next week to answer charges in connection with the charges faced by the four in crown court.
