ONE of the peregrine falcons born in a nestbox on top of the tower at St Mary Magdalene Church, Taunton, has been found dead - in Morocco.
The male bird was a road casualty in Tiznit on November 1.
It had flown a total distance of 2,435km and it is the first time a UK peregrine has been recorded flying to mainland Morocco.
It was one of three birds hatched this year as part of the project to save the endangered species.
