SWINGING into Minehead, The Big Band at Christmas will be at the Regal Theatre in December.
The show, performed by Five Star Swing, was featured at London’s Leicester Square Theatre and BBC’s Children in Need.
The show has all your favourite Christmas songs with the dynamic Big Band treatment including songs from Glenn Miller, Sinatra, Basie and Nat King Cole.
Local Drummer Don Davies who tours with the band, said: “I’m excited to be bringing the big band version of all these classic Christmas songs back to my home town.”
Also featured is Simone from the Ivy Benson Orchestra, and Chris Smith (Jnr) composer and arranger for the BBC Radio Big Band, Herb Miller Big Band (Glenn’s brother), plus Tony Bennett’s trombonist.
