GRUNGE legends Pearl Jam have announced a huge UK show as part of a 2020 European tour.

The show, part of the BST Hyde Park concerts next summer, is billed as a the band's 'only UK show in 2020' and takes place on Friday, July 10.

Support will come in the form of the Pixies, White Reaper and 'more to be announced'.

Pearl Jam announced the tour as part of shows marking 30 years since the band formed in Seattle.

They arose in 1990 from the ashes of Mother Love Bone - which featured guitarist Stone Gossard and bass player Jeff Ament - after the death of frontman, Andrew Wood.

Their debut album, Ten, was released in 1991 and follow-up, Vs, set a record for the most copies of an album sold in the first week of release.

They last performed in the UK in 2012, including a headline show at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Previously, they headlined Reading and Leeds Festival in 2006.

Meanwhile, already confirmed for next summer's series of Hyde Park concerts are Little Mix, who will play on a bill which also includes Rita Ora, Kesha, Zara Larsson and more.

The band will play on Saturday, July 4.

The Pearl Jam announcement appears to put to bed rumours they could play at next summer's Glastonbury Festival.

However, it is not unheard of for bands to still play at Worthy Farm, despite 'UK exclusive', or 'festival exclusive' claims...
