HEAR what Christmas sounded like in Tudor style with early music ensemble Piva at Halsway Manor next week.

Enjoy dancing, music, feasting, parties and games that were part and parcel of a 16th century Christmas - much as they are today.

Piva are one of this country’s leading early music ensembles. Playing throughout the UK and Europe they have gained a strong reputation for their lively performances and entertaining shows and, at this time of year, their very festive Christmas show.

They use a wide range of instruments typical of the Tudor period with a modern twist.

Halsway Manor, National Centre for Folk Arts, has been established as a Charity since 1965.

Nestling at the foot of the Quantock Hills, Halsway Manor provides a year-round programme of events and activities in traditional folk music, dance, song, storytelling, folklore and related arts and crafts.
