I WRITE to thank you for highlighting the plight of an aged Somerset woman who had had a dispute with BT over her bills (‘Phone war after BT dispute’, County Gazette, November 14).

I, too, am having an ongoing dispute with BT which is being managed by Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

I am pleased that the County Gazette is listening to the older generation when we tell you something is wrong that needs sorting out.

Too often, we feel let down by politicians, clinicians and those with money and influence, who fail to listen when we say things are wrong.
