CHRISTMAS is coming and even these construction workers are getting into the festive spirit.
Apex Scaffolding has been working to set up eight miles of scaffolding around Wellington Monument.
The National Trust is getting ready to start work on a multi-million pound project to restore the iconic structure.
Around £3million has been raised so far towards the project, which hopes to protect the monument for future generations.
National Trust Project Manager Helen Sharp said: "To celebrate the mammoth task of erecting around eight miles of scaffolding at Wellington Monument, the team from Apex scaffolding decided to get in the Christmas spirit.
"We’re so excited that with scaffolding complete we’ll be able to start building work on site next spring."
