DRIVERS were facing lengthy delays today after a crash on a main Somerset thoroughfare.
The crash happened on the A39 at Huish Lane, Washford, in the early afternoon and affected traffic in both directions.
Police were called to the scene.

"Traffic easing, earlier accident on A39 both ways at Huish Lane," said a Highways England spokesperson.
Police have now left the scene, he added, and traffic was said to be 'easing' in the area.
