I WOULD like to thank the young men called Josef and Nathan, from Wessex Water, who helped my terminally-ill, 83-year-old dad Phil on Christmas Eve.
Phil had just spent eight weeks in hospital and has lost much of his mobility.
On Christmas Eve his basement was flooded by a burst water main and he was likely to be without water for five days.
Josef and Nathan worked for four hours, until late on Christmas Eve, to stop the flood and to restore his supply.

This was very much appreciated and was a timely reminder of the kindness and effort that our young folk will go to at difficult times.
My dad was overwhelmed by their efficiency and promptness.
Thank you both.
