The Railway Carriage has been skilfully designed to replicate a vintage passenger car, now welcoming up to four guests split between two bedrooms.

It has a traditional design with modern, eco-friendly features to make it a comfortable holiday home.

The listing details: "Guests will enter through a covered veranda where they’ll walk through two glass doors into the cosy living room.

"This comfortable area features two leather two-seater sofas to relax in after a long day of exploring and looks out onto the West Somerset Railway line.

"The living room leads onto the open plan kitchen and dining area that has a table with seating for up to four people and a shaker-style kitchen which is fitted with modern, high-quality appliances.

"To the back of the carriage, there are two spacious bedrooms for up to four guests, one which has a king-sized bed, and the second with two single beds."

Outside the carriage, there is a sheltered seating area providing guests with the perfect place to have a glass of wine or breakfast on warmer days, the listing adds.

And across from the veranda, there’s also a luxurious heated hot tub outside that guests can relax in, even on colder nights.

The West Somerset Railway runs from Minehead to Bishop’s Lydeard and guests can take a ride on one of these historic trains through the stunning Somerset countryside to the coast, or simply watch from the railway carriage.
