RECENT cases dealt with by Taunton Magistrates' Courts include:
James Kelvin Toothill, 29, of Eastleigh Court, Trinity Road, Taunton, assault by beating, 20 weeks prison (concurrent) suspended for two years, restraining order, £170 compensation; damaged a mobile phone, £100 compensation; assaulted a police office acting in the exercise of his functions, four weeks prison (concurrent) suspended for two years, £150 compensation. (G). Assault by beating, 26 weeks prison suspended for two years, £100 compensation.
Barry Royston Stone, 59, c/o New Road, Trull, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, £364 fine, £36 victim surcharge, £85 costs, six points. (G).
Kyle Paul Woodward, 33, of Beadon Road, Taunton, jointly made off without paying for a meal and drinks, £80 fine, £65 compensation. (G).
