REFRESH and revitalise body, mind and soul with yoga and art at the Museum of Somerset in Taunton.
Join yoga teacher Bev Alderson for a one-hour Hatha Yoga session in the historic Great Hall of Taunton Castle, home to the Museum of Somerset.
Downward dog, cat and cow stretch, and strike that mountain pose surrounded by 400 million years of history.
The class is suitable for yogis of mixed abilities, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. It will include warm ups, standing and seated poses, breath work and relaxation.
Having found your zen, take the chance to soak up some modernist art. Contemplate the surreal world of the painter Tristram Hilllier and see artworks on loan from Tate Britain and National Galleries Scotland.
Enjoy the yoga and art sessions on February 26, March 4 and March 25. Tickets cost £10. For more information visit museumofsomerset.org.uk
