HIGHBRIDGE'S new Co-op store will be officially opened to the public next month, the Co-op has confirmed.

The new supermarket, which has been built at the former Morlands Industrial Park site on the corner of Morland Road and Burnham Road, has been unoccupied since Morland Industrial Park closed in October 2014.

The new store will be opened on February 6 at 9am and will have 15 car parking spaces including two disabled parking bays and cycle spaces as well as a new cashpoint.

Vicki Przytocki, head of HR and communications at Radstock Co-op, said: "The new store opens at 9am on February 6. We have some pupils from the local school attending to perform the opening ceremony to. cut the ribbon etc."

The new store replaces Highbridge's former Co-op store in Market Street which closed in 2018 and was replaced by Proper Job last year.
