A FAILED attempted to steal an ATM machine has sparked a police appeal.
Officers are asking for witnesses after suspects carried out an attempt to steal the machine in Frome.
The incident took place at around 3.30am on February 6.
A police spokesperson said: "The suspects attempted to set fire to the ATM machine in a convenience store at Fromefield in Rodden Road.
"Some damage was caused to a window adjacent to the ATM.
"There were three suspects – two in a car and one on a moped. All three were wearing what appeared to be hooded tops.
"We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time who may have seen a car and moped travelling together.
