A CARAVAN was blown over - blocking a Somerset road - as Storm Ciara battered the county on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Kennard Moor Drove, at Coxbridge, Glastonbury, at just after midday after the occupant of a caravan reported it had blown over.
The caravan was not mobile at the time, a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said, with the caller saying both himself and his partner - plus two dogs - were out of the trailer.
"When crews attended they confirmed the caravan was on its side and it was blocking the road," the spokesperson said.
"First aid was provided to the male prior to the arrival of the ambulance service and crews made the area and caravan safe before handing the incident over to the occupant and the police."
