STORM Dennis has proven to be a 'menace' for Somerset's highways teams with 144 call outs over the weekend.
Travel Somerset, the county council's highways updating service, reported more out of hours calls since Friday (February 14) than for the whole of January.
This included nine car crashes, 11 landslides and 79 fallen trees.
The busiest region was South Somerset, which saw 62 call outs as Storm Dennis swept across the country.

There were 36 incidents in the Somerset West and Taunton Council area, 24 calls from Mendip residents, and 17 reports from Sedgemoor.
In total, there were 79 fallen trees, 34 floods, 11 landslides, nine car crashes, four traffic light faults, four potholes, two fallen signs, and one missing cover.
